“DARKNESS”
You woke up in the rain
With a sorrow memory

“BROKEN FAMILY”
Once there was a girl, name Dhalia who always wanted to be complete in her whole life. She was a very beautiful girl, were she adopt her mom’s beauty. He values was a real Filipina woman, who is very kind and a religious woman. She always with her mom every week end of the month. They went to church and spent their whole time in malls. They shared the whole day, talking about their past moments when Dhalia was a young girl. Every time she asked her mom about her Dad, her mom say’s he was busy of his work somewhere in province. And the story of what’s happening to their house, and then Dhalia never asked again about to her father. And when they done in malling they go home with separate way’s, because Dhalia was living in Manila because she work here and her mom was in province, were they real house was or built.
One day, the company of Dhalia was she work had an announcement that before lunch there will be a general meeting, were all employees must be participated. After the announcement, some employee was not happy to hear that announcement and some start to panic, except Dhalia because she didn’t know what the reason of emergency meeting is. Then the meeting was started, some announcement was much tightened problem that will bring all employees was shocked and some were angry and some employee didn’t know what to do.
On that day Dhalia was thinking not about her job, but she was happy for that, instead to be angry. Because she think it was a very long happy week end for her, because she was gonna see her father and brother and sister for a long year because, after she graduated in high school on their province. After the elimination, she went back home, her sister and brother approach her very excited and her mom was crying with joy in her heart because she miss her daughter so much. On that day, she noticed that her father was not in their house and she asked her mom, that is why her father was not in the house? And her mom simply replied that, you go down to your room maybe you’re tired and try to get a rest. Then she nodded and follows her mom say’s. And then Dhalia was so confused about her mom’s replied. She lies down on the bed and reminisces to her past bed room were she hang with her dad when she was a little girl. She misses her dad so much and then she fall asleep.
On the next day, when she woke up, she told to her self that she would not ask about her father. Then she eats breakfast with her sister and her brother without their mom. Dahlia asked his brother about her dad and her brother replied that his father was in some province because he has a project on his work, and her dad never says was he going.
After the breakfast, she goes to the church, near in their house. She se her mom inside the church and she went near to her mom and both of them prayed. After the mass, she went to her old friend and tells that she has a plan to party tonight and all her old friends must be there in their house at night.
And the party that night started. Everybody was happy and get drunked till midnight. After the party they were all gone except Dhalia and her mom because she want to know the real story why her dad didn’t show up to her party even she had remind it by her uncle. Then she started to cry, her mom was so sad too. At that moment she tells the truth of what is the reason why her father was not going in their house. She tells that her father had another woman. Her mom saw also that since the day she left their house to work on manila. That day their dad was gone also and he left a letter, indicating that he was going somewhere with another woman. That is also the reason why she always ignore and never answer the question about her dad. When she hear all those story about her dad, she cry and cry and cry until she realized that it’s more important to have a work more then to have a long holiday because she cannot have a happy long holiday without her dad because their family is not complete. She also realized that no life is perfect but in order to have a perfect life we must be satisfy for what we have and be contented for what God given to us even if we have a broken family in our real life.
“White and Blue Collar Jobs”
Education is the key to success. People study to gain knowledge they will need to reach their goals and ambitions in life. Some would like to become doctors, engineers, architect, journalist, managers, businessmen, computer programmers, lawyers or even teachers someday. These are the few of the many jobs that are available in society today. Different courses are now offered in different colleges and universities in the country for the students to choose from, leading whit-collar jobs without may be clerical or professional jobs.
However, not all students are available to finish or even reach college because of financial constraints. But this doesn’t mean that they become liabilities of society. Those who are graduates only of high school may land in blue collar jobs, jobs that require much of their physical strength. Though these jobs are quite hard, they are decent jobs that generate income to the people who are not degree holders. These people also contribute to the progress of the country because without them, factories, establishments, offices and even transportation will not be able to function completely.
